Nestled in the heart of Brentwood at 11650 San Vicente Blvd, Palmeri Ristorante offers a genuine slice of Italy right in Los Angeles. This Italian restaurant masterfully combines authentic culinary tradition with a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes every guest feel like they’re stepping into a beloved family trattoria.
The menu at Palmeri Ristorante is a celebration of Italian flavors crafted with evident passion and meticulous care. Start your journey with a vibrant Frutti Di Mare, a symphony of wild shrimp, scallops, calamari, octopus, olives, capers, and bell peppers marinated in fragrant extra-virgin olive oil and fresh lemon. The antipasti selection also features the delicate Carpaccio — thinly sliced raw Piemontese beef dressed with peppery arugula, nutty parmigiano, and a zesty mustard vinaigrette — a dish that dances across the palate with freshness and depth.
For pizza lovers, Palmeri Ristorante elevates classic Italian pies with thoughtfully curated toppings like the Fornarina, crowned with mozzarella, Parma prosciutto, peppery arugula, parmigiano reggiano, and a drizzle of luxurious truffle oil, or the hearty Salsiccia E Funghi, blending savory Italian sausage, earthy mushrooms, caramelized onions, and just a whisper of chili oil for a subtle, spicy kick. Each pizza is a perfect balance of crispy crust, melty cheese, and vibrant flavors.
When it comes to entrées, diners rave about dishes like the perfectly seared Pescespada (grilled swordfish) accompanied by Sicilian caponata and a balsamic reduction, or the succulent Palmeri Costata Ribeye Steak, delivering a powerful, smoky richness layered with tender juiciness. The duck confit and caramelized pork chop also stand out as hearty, soulful options that showcase the kitchen’s deft hand with both classic and rustic Italian preparations.
The dessert menu is equally irresistible, featuring house-made delights like the creamy, luscious Tiramisu and the crisp, golden Lemon Tart, each bite a perfect note of sweetness to complete your meal. Don’t miss the Cannoli Alla Siciliana, a crunchy shell filled with sweet ricotta cream that transports you straight to Sicily.
Beyond the food, the ambiance at Palmeri Ristorante is rooted in genuine hospitality and joyful conviviality. Customers mention the welcoming service and intimate atmosphere, where warm smiles from the staff—and even visits from the owner and chef—turn a simple meal into a memorable experience. The bar’s craft cocktails, like their exceptional Italian cappuccino or expertly made margaritas, add a dynamic dimension to the evening.

Amazing service, vibe, and food. After hearing all the great things about Mr. Octavio and his restaurant, I had to check it out for myself. I have to say hands down the best food I have had in Los Angeles. If you don't try you are missing out. will be returning soon for my girls b day!
A great Italian restaurant in Brentwood! When you come here you feel like you’re going to your friends/family restaurant. The whole team is really nice and friendly. The owner/chef came a few times to chat with us, which was cool! I came here a few times and would always get the bolognese that is actually really really good. And, never tried something else. But, this time I wanted something more light and went with the “Salmone”, which was really tasty! I really liked it. Other people in my party got the ribeye and the ravioli - and nothing was left on the plates. As a starter we did get the burrata - the cheese was really great. And, they also bring like a small appetizer to snack on with tomato sauce and cheese - just eating it with a spoon was delicious! So, I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a chill, quiet Italian restaurant with amazing food!
Great dinner on a busy Saturday. The bread and the side ricotta with tomato sauce was so good. Pasta pepardele was delicious and so was the chocolate hazelnut cake. Good service and all around good experience.
Food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! 10/10 I was visiting from out of town and decided to try, and it did not disappoint. Whenever I return to California they will be first on my list to return to for another meal. Plus the service was wonderful! They also made me a margarita upon my request and it was one the best margaritas I’ve ever had.
The food here is quite good, not spectacular in the sense of having great subtly of flavor, but nonetheless very satisfying. The servers are responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable. We sat outside, which was lovely, except when very noisy traffic made its presence felt. I think that situation had to do with some nearby road work, so hopefully the problem was transitory. The next time I am in town, I likely will return.
